Message from Founder

Our story began back in 1983 when I was working in an international computer company in Abu Dhabi that was selling both hardware and software. I saw value in offering software on its own, which propelled me to establish GDI as a software solutions provider, something new in the region at the time. As computer hardware became more prominent, I recognized an opportunity for software customization that could directly impact businesses in the UAE and the MENA region as a whole.

We have always been up to a good challenge. One of our first challenges was to move one of the largest banks in the UAE and all its branches from manual processes to online systems. GDI has come a long way since pioneering in bespoke solutions for prominent banks and government entities. Endorsing change with the end desire to give back to society and positively impact people’s daily lives has always been our mission.

With tremendous experience and understanding of the culture, we can identify and bridge the gaps between clients’ needs and vendor capabilities when it comes to software solutions. As we continue our journey at GDI, we remain up-to-date with the latest technology in our field, enabling companies with tools for digital transformation, while focusing on optimization to produce more efficiently. With the emergence of industrial 4.0 technology and improved connectivity with 5G, we are excited to innovate with new use-cases, unlocking the untapped potential the future holds.
